Our mission is to have mentorship accessible to everyone

Hitesh is an Internal Medicine PGY1 Resident at one of the oldest residency program in the States, Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital. Hitesh is somebody who decided really early in his medical school on pursuing Internal Medicine residency in the States, he put his focus on not only scoring well in the board exams but also on building a wholesome application. Despite of having graduated from one of the best medical schools in India, he always felt a lack of mentorship at his place due to less number of seniors going to the States. With his passion and desire to help his juniors on this uncertain but rewarding journey, he decided to begin a formal mentorship program for the IMG community.

Parul is an Internal Medicine PGY1 in at University of Michigan-Sparrow Hospital. She is a strong advocate of mentorship and believes that mentorship should always be free and accessible. Having met some great mentors throughout her journey, she understands the importance of good mentorship in the shaping of the applicant. Her passion for helping IMGs inspired her to start this absolutely free mentorship initiative. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, drawing Mandalas and baking cakes.

Rishi is a PGY1 Resident in Combined Internal Medicine -Pediatrics residency program at MetroHealth/Case Western Reserve University. As someone who lacked the right kind of guidance through his USMLE journey, he feels that having a mentor through these uncertain times, makes the whole process streamlined. He has been working as a Mentor and Tutor with various organizations for over 2 years, and feels he can impart his experience to the juniors and help them achieve their goals.

Neil is an international medical graduate from India and is an Internal Medicine Aspirant. He strongly believes in “zooming out” and focusing on the bigger picture. He is a (medical) graphic designer/illustrator besides being a doctor; he enjoys designing medical illustrations in his free time. He is a keen believer in medical research and helps those in medicine and allied sciences to start their journey in medical research in any capacity that they can contribute. He co-founded PearResearch with this theme in mind, and is actively helping students gain insight into research, especially in developing countries.

Yuvraj is an ambivert and a dog lover. He aims to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine. He enjoys attending conferences to give his brain a medical tune-up, writing, and picking up new hobbies. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and learning Spanish, he dreams of traveling the world, meeting great minds, and befriending both humble people and canines. He is also passionate about research.

Jahanvi is an extroverted and dedicated medical professional, thriving on impacting lives through medicine. Her journey includes diverse clinical experiences, research, and numerous conferences. She enjoys engaging in conversations, meeting new people, traveling, and sharing coffee over good music. Enthusiastic and ready to lend a hand, she believe in the power of collaboration and compassion in healthcare.

She thrives on collaboration and teamwork. In addition to medicine, she is also passionate in crafting compelling content, may it be editing videos for our YouTube channel or collaborating with mentors; she is committed to making the residency journey smoother for all applicants.
